Isabel M. Perera, PhD

Isabel M. Perera is an Assistant Professor of Government at Cornell University. Her current work explores the comparative political economy of psychiatric deinstitutionalization, as well as its implications for normative debates on the appropriate allocation of resources in mental health. Her training includes a doctorate in Political Science and a post-doctorate in Medical Ethics and Health Policy, both from the University of Pennsylvania.
